Service status
The deterministic reconstruction engine runs entirely in-process and has no external dependencies, so it is available whenever the site is. The optional AI restoration/enhancement pass depends on the configured image provider and is instructed to preserve the current reconstruction and visible text. Check /api/health and /api/deascii/status for live status.
